Campaigns

No campaign is too small to need a website anymore. The ability to process a donation by credit card quickly is critical. In addition, a well-organized website gives a candidate an easy-to-reference place to do all the follow-up work to a handshake. It is your 24-hour welcome mat for voters, donors and volunteers.

My goal is to be the easiest part of running your campaign. I know campaigns are usually run on a shoestring budget and I want the money you invest into the website to pay for itself ten times over. That means every website I set up comes with my help to maintain it through your election.

I specialize in fully-customized and managed campaign websites. I can setup a website from scratch or rework a website you already have. I'm happy to work with you on a design you have in mind, or create sample designs you pick from. No detail is too small or unimportant.

Nonprofits

I love working on nonprofit websites! Since each organization has a unique purprose, they often require more than just an out-of-the-box template. You need the website to do a lot, so the organization can do the important work it was setup to do. Whether it's custom forms, managing volunteers or keeping donation payment processing costs to a minimum, I understand that nonprofits need a site that punches above it's weight class.

What people are saying about Lockedform

Barbara Schulman, School Board Candidate

I approached Lockedform because I decided to run for public office. The owner Rachel Lowe helped me in so many ways. She developed a website and Facebook page. I found the experience easy, manageable, and comfortable. I think the most important thing about Rachel is her knowledge, confidence, and suggestions. She always discussed ideas, so I could make good decisions. I found the experience positive, easy, and definitely helped me win the election. I would recommend Lockedform to people who need her knowledge!

Linda Baker, City Council Campaign Manager

I was the campaign manager for a recent city council race, and worked closely with Rachel to develop the campaign website and mailing list templates. As needed, she also worked with both me and our social media manager to coordinate website and social media content. Rachel is a joy to work with. She is collaborative, creative, diligent, prompt and thoughtful. We were able to give her our general design guidelines, basic color choices, and communication goals, and then she designed our Website, provided templates for our newsletter and event announcement mailing list and set up, linked to and helped administer our donations software. Her fees are more than reasonable for the professional quality and quantity of work she does, often more than she is paid for. She genuinely cares about this work. I recommend her highly.

What does LockedForm mean?

LockedForm is a reference to letterpress printing. The "form" is the final version of all of the type, furniture and other pieces that go into building an actual page for printing. "Locking up" or locking the form is the very final step before the final approval and printing. Just like the old letterpress printing technique, once the website goes live it has to be right. You never get more than one chance to make a good impression. I strive to make sure everything is correct and the way you want it before the public ever lays eyes on your final product.
